Jonathan Collette, DDS
There could never be a career better adapted for me personally than orthodontics. At Tri-City Orthodontics, I love working with people and especially making them smile! I believe the best treatment philosophy is to treat my patients exactly how I would treat a member of my family.
With that in mind, I carefully listen to each patient’s desires and concerns, formulate a custom treatment and financial plan to meet their needs, and finally work together in achieving that goal. The satisfaction I gain from seeing the changes which occur during this process is worth all the effort.

I equally value the opportunity I have to interact on a professional basis with so many young individuals. I seek to be a model citizen and a good example while supporting and encouraging my patients in school, athletics, and other healthy hobbies they might pursue.
I am excited each time a new person comes into my office because I look at them not solely as a patient but as a future friend. Please don’t hesitate to come on in with any questions or concerns you may have. We have a unique partnership with Dentistry For Kids that allows for complete oral health with ease.
I was born and raised in Southeast Idaho. I served a two-year LDS mission in Rome, Italy, before graduating from Brigham Young University, magna cum laude. I went on to received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, one of the top-rated dental schools in the country, graduating summa cum laude and second in my class of over a hundred graduates. I was then selected as one of three residents to remain in San Antonio and complete an additional three years of intense orthodontic training.
Coming out of a residency where I have been trained in multiple techniques, I feel I am uniquely qualified to help patients understand what type of braces is best for each situation. Furthermore, there has never been a better time to undergo orthodontics.
Historically, orthodontic treatment was limited to headgear and large bands around the teeth. Things have changed so much! Whether it is traditional twin brackets, ceramic brackets, or clear aligners, there are options available no matter what your condition or age may be. The orthodontic profession has never had so many techniques and fabulous methods to help people attain their perfect smile.

Outside the office
I am happily married with one son and two lovely daughters. I am thrilled to be able to work with my brother, Dr. James Collette, and his partner, Dr. David Hamilton, the premier pediatric dental specialists at Dentistry for Kids. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy long-distance running, fishing, snowmobiling, traveling, watching movies, doing a bit of yard work, and making my kids laugh.
