Meet the Hygienists
I perform restorative procedures on all our little kiddos, always keeping a fun environment to promote a positive experience at the dentist! I also help out with aiding children in learning excellent oral hygiene skills and a good healthy diet to support strong little teeth for a lifetime! My favorite part of this job is the feeling of accomplishment I get when little patients leave happy and had a fun time with us at the dentist! Also, I get to watch and sing Disney movies all day!
My husband and I recently got married and had a handsome little baby boy! I love to spend time with my family and cat Oliver. In my free time, I enjoy crafts, sewing, and going boating on the Columbia River!
I work with children to deliver painless anesthetic and place restorations. No procedure is ever the same, and every appointment is tailored toward each child’s specific needs. I love that our office is always such a fun, happy, and inviting environment to be in. It takes special people and patience to work in pediatrics, and our team has it!
I am married and have a small boy. I’m a foodie at heart and will jump on any chance to travel anywhere, any time.
I started my career in dentistry as a dental assistant working with children more than 20 years ago. My passions for the profession lead me into education to obtain both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in dental hygiene from Eastern Washington University. Today, I am back working with children as a dental hygienist, and I love it! I enjoy working with the kiddos. I strive to make their visit comfortable, safe, and enjoyable.
I am originally from the west side of the state, but after a few visits, I fell in love with this area and the community. I still travel back to the west side to visit my four wonderful adult children, their spouses, my grandson, and many fur grandbabies. In addition to working with children at DFK, I spend my time volunteering at Grace Clinic in Kennewick and providing mobile dental hygiene services to seniors and those with disabilities in long-term healthcare facilities.
Meet the Assistants
Hi, my name is Laura! I love working with kids! I always keep everyone laughing! I moved to the Tri Cities in 2007 and started working in pediatric dentistry. I fell in love with it! I love working with kids every day. The part I love the most is helping the little ones when they come in scared and walk out the door happy, not scared of the dentist.
I came to the USA when I was seven years old. I have a daughter, a furry baby, and a wonderful spouse of 25 years. In my free time, I love to cook and spend time with my family.
I work chairside with our doctors to ensure our little patients have a positive experience! Our office has a fun atmosphere created by the doctors, the team, and our patients! We are a very upbeat and fun team with providers who truly love what they do!
A native to Tri-Cities, I love to travel and spend time with friends and family.
I graduated from Charter College and was lucky enough to be an intern at DFK. I was hired after my internship ended and have been here ever since! I enjoy making sure our little patients have a positive experience and seeing them leave with a smile.
I am happily married — no children yet, but I do have fur children! My favorite hobby is doing makeup. I am also a secretary at my church.
I graduated from the dental assistant program through Charter College in 2017. I started at Dentistry For Kids while still enrolled in school and have been with the company ever since! I love working with our doctors because they are knowledgeable in pediatric dentistry and making work fun! The team is awesome too!
I am married and have two children: a girl and a boy. I grew up on the west side of the state and have been in the Tri Cities for some time now. My family enjoys BMX, fishing, and camping. My husband and I operate the BMX track in Richland, and that is where we spend the majority of our time with the family!
Dentistry is sometimes the least favorite thing for kids. I love being able to make them feel comfortable and helping them have a good experience where most the time they are eager to come back for their next visit. Our doctors are truly amazing. Each one contributes to having the best team in the area. They are patient, knowledgeable, and truly care for their patients. They provide the best care, and assisting them to provide the best service is very rewarding.
A small-town girl, I was born and raised in Prosser. I have a young daughter named Mia. Together we love to bake, color, and read Amelia Badelia books. When I’m not at work or enjoying my family, I make time early mornings to work out. I am a major foodie: always on the hunt for a delicious restaurant. I am also currently working on furthering my education at WSU!
Kids are often scared and/or nervous when they visit us. I enjoy making them feel comfortable and walking them through the procedure. I love turning a scared child into a happy one by the end of the visit! I love working with our doctors; they each have a different way of making the children feel comfortable, sometimes including singing!
I began working with this wonderful team during July 2018. My fiancé and I have two boys: Ayden and Liam. I spend my days off traveling, going to the park, and spending family time doing crafts or games.
I enjoy working with patients, especially with children. Furthermore, I am bilingual! I have been in the dental field for more than seven years. My training was done with Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Walla Walla. That is something I am very thankful for in my life: to have the opportunity to work and train for dental assisting all at once. My favorite part of my job is when I make patients feel comfortable and seeing them leave with a smile on their face after treatment.
My hardworking husband Jesus is my best friend. I have three children: two handsome boys, Raul and Johan, and one beautiful daughter, Galilea. We also have a new addition to the family: my grandson Koda and daughter-in-law Brianna. I love summer, spending the days at the river, having a BBQ with the family, and just staying home with the family watching movies or cleaning.
I am excited to be a part of the DFK team! I work hard each day to make patients happy and be able to put a smile on their face. I love working with my team because they’re amazing and helpful!
I am a proud dog mom to a gorgeous pit bull. I enjoy working out and going on hikes, spending time with my nieces, attending baseball games, and watching football.
I love working with kids and making their experience at the dentist fun! Everyone in our office helps each other when needed. Everyone is very friendly and outgoing, and makes our patients’ experiences great ones!
I am a first-time mom of a small daughter and I spend majority of my free time with her. I am currently engaged to my best friend. Our family quality time is usually spent at my mother’s farm, because my daughter loves feeding the horses. We also enjoy watching movies and playing soccer!
I love what I do, which is why you’ll always see me with a smile on my face! The doctors and staff are amazing. I take pride in educating parents about their children’s oral hygiene, as well as teaching and answering questions that kids have about their teeth.
In my free time, I enjoy running outdoors, going to the gym, reading, and eating healthy, but spending time with my family and three younger sisters is what I value most.
The best part about my job is assisting the little patients and educating them on how to improve their oral hygiene. I have been with the team since 2017, and I assist with radiation safety, infection control and general chairside duties. Our team works very well together and we create a great atmosphere for all of the staff and the patients.
I just recently had a baby girl with my husband, I love spending time with them and the rest of my family. I also love to go shopping and spending time outdoors!
Meet the Front Team
My favorite part of my job is meeting all the different children and getting to know all their different personalities. I love working with my teammates because they are all super funny and easy to get along with. Everyone here is super passionate about their jobs.
And now, a little about myself! I am married and have two children. Let’s not forget my animal children: two little yorkies, Sophia and Cleo, and our big baby Scarlett, a Saint Bernard. We are a wild family; there’s never a dull moment or quiet at our house, but I love it. I love to work out and go hiking, but I can’t live without my tacos and tamales!
I have been working in the dental field for a few years now, from working in the front as receptionist to managing a private dental office. I enjoy helping parents understand the financial aspects of their appointments, and making sure they know what their insurance covers and what it doesn’t. I love working with my team because we can all rely on each other to work as a team. We all bring something unique to the table.
I’m from Othello but grew up here in the Tri-Cities. I love spending time with my family, especially my kids, Layla and Lorenzo. My hobbies are cooking, playing sports, and trying new things. I’m always up for anything!
I greet patients with a friendly smile and help parents understand the scheduling and financial aspects of their child’s appointment. I love working with my team. Coming to work feels like coming home to my second family. I love being in an environment where everyone helps one another, and where the main mission is making sure the patient leaves happy.
I’m a mother of two loving kids: a daughter and a son. I love to spend all my free time with my family, especially traveling together. I love cooking for them and knowing that they enjoy eating their favorite meals. Being a mother is the best feeling in life.
I have plenty of experience working with dental patients of all kinds, from children to adults. I am here to make you and your child feel at ease and help guide you through your first experience with us, while also answering any questions you might have. I always look forward to seeing you! I love working for DFK because of the message they stand for and the help they provide our community.
I was born and raised in the Tri Cities. I have two dogs that I enjoy spending my days off with.
Meet the Supervisor
I manage the clinic and the staff, making sure everyone provides the best experience for our little patients and their parents. I love interacting with all of our patients. It’s always rewarding to see them come in with anxiety and leave feeling happy and excited to come back! I also enjoy the unique opportunity we get to offer care to people who are really in need of it.
I have lived in the Tri-City area for a decade and a half. I have three boys who keep me on my toes at all times and an amazing partner. When I’m not here at the office, I can be found running around to all the different sporting events my boys are involved in. I love to laugh and have fun and try to make every day the best day!
